Invitation

Dear colleague,

It is a proud privilege for us to host the 3rd South Asian Melioidosis Congress (SAMC) for the very first time in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We take this wonderful opportunity to cordially invite you to take part and contribute to the congress to be held in 20th and 21st October, 2023. The organism, Burkholderia pseudomallei, which is hiding behind the soil curtain, is responsible for the deadly disease, melioidosis. Many facets of the disease are still entirely unfamiliar to us. The South East Asian Melioidosis Congress, being one of the largest events, will allow the huge amalgam of researchers and clinicians from different parts of the World to exchange their fruitful findings and views in order to come to a conclusive decision regarding the diagnosis, management and prevention of melioidosis. The conference will be attended by prominent microbiologists, interdisciplinary researchers, clinicians and epidemiologists from all around the World, expected to engage in expansive conversations regarding the most recent innovations, research trends, practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in various thematic areas of melioidosis. We hope that this will allow us to design a potent warfare map to wage our battle against the deadly disease. The success of such an event depends mostly on the quality of your participation and the dynamics of discussions so as to achieve further progress on the subject. We are hopeful that this congress will be a splendid platform for sharing the unrevealed secrets of melioidosis due to the current advancement in the research fields concerning the disease. Moreover, a gathering among such accomplished and aspiring scientists will expectantly lead to a further rapport among all of us in the future.

Your presence in the said event is an absolute honour to us.

Best Regards
